Season 5 Season 4 Season 3 Season 2

Always make sure you check the home page for the latest Scrubs news.

June 02, 2003 - It's Official...

'Scrubs' has finally officially been renewed for a third season. It will remain in the same time-slot, Thursdays at 8:30 PM (7:30 central) on NBC. As summer progresses, it is not unusual for the schedule to be tweaked -- a time-slot switch is still possible, though not very probable.

Shooting should resume in late July/early August.

May 1, 2003 - Funniest Moments -- Catch It When You Can

It's possible that the Bush speech tonight will push around the 'Scrubs Funniest Moments' special tonight...or bump it off the schedule completely. The line-up on the NBC home page currently looks like this:

8:00 - 8:40pm ...Friends

8:40 - 9:00pm ...Friends (Part I)

9:00 - 9:20pm ...PRESIDENT BUSH PRESIDENTIAL ADDRESS

9:20 - 9:34pm ...Friends (Part 2)

9:34 -10:12pm ...Will & Grace

10:12 - 11:12pm ...ER

April 25, 2003 - First Week of Sweeps is Bloopericious

Okay, let's try this again.

- 'NBC's Funniest Outtakes 2' (including 'Scrubs' clips) is currently scheduled for Tuesday, April 29 at 8:00 PM (7 c.). (Previously scheduled for 4/30.)

- 'Scrubs Funniest Moments' is currently scheduled for Thursday, May 1 at 9:45 PM (8:45 c.)...though it is strongly advised to start watching/taping at half past the hour just in case.

April 23, 2003 - Win a Trip to 'Scrubs'

In a contest being sponsored by General Electric and, apparently, Time-Warner (and their adopted demon spawn AOL), you can win a trip to the 'Scrubs' set for a chance to tour the hospital and meet the cast. ...Or you could win a washer-dryer. Whatever.

Open to U.S. Residents only. Sorry!

ENTER TO WIN...Deadline is May 30, 2003.

April 21, 2003 - Crank Up "Sinnerman" for Nina

"My Fansite" takes a moment to honor jazz great Nina Simone, whose amazing "Sinnerman" graced last season's Christmas episode "My Own Personal Jesus", who died today. How wonderful that she acquired so many new fans via 'Scrubs', even towards the end of her life.

April 16, 2003 - Talk Show News...and More On 'Scrubs' Special -- UPDATE

- On TUESDAY, APRIL 22, John C. McGinley will be a guest on The Wayne Brady Show (syndicated).

Update (2003.04.23): John C. did not appear on on this show as sheduled.

[Check for Updates]

- Also on TUESDAY, APRIL 22, John C. McGinley will be the guest on 'Loveline'.

- On THURSDAY, MAY 1, at 9:30 PM (8:30 CT), NBC will be airing 'SCRUBS' FUNNIEST MOMENTS:

'Scrubs' Funniest Moments

30 min.

Memorable series scenes are interwoven with outtakes, featuring guest-star appearances and a barrage of flubs. John C. McGinley hosts.

April 16, 2003 - End of Season Notes

- Don't forget that this week is the Season Finale, directed by series creator Bill Lawrence and guest-starring Ryan Reynolds.

- Sucks that we're only getting 22 episodes this year, but that's the way the industry works. Last year was special, with an extra order -- God love the days before the heat of Reality TV competition.

- There's word of a 'Scrubs' special to be aired at 9:30 PM (ET/PT) on May 1. More news to come on that as it becomes available.

- As for the summer and next year...it seems NBC's counter attack against the Reality craze is 'Friends', 'Friends', and more 'Friends'. 'Scrubs' reruns will be limited in summer, despite the early finish. As for Season 3, even though nothing official has been announced, it's a pretty safe bet that our show will be returning in the Fall.

April 06, 2003 - Talk Show Appearance

This TUESDAY, APRIL 8, Judy Reyes will be the special guest co-host on ABC's "The View". Check your local listings.

[The Scheduled Guests]

March 27, 2003 - Two More Noms -- Two More Losses

'Scrubs' was recently nominated for a couple of industry guild awards -- Writers Guild of America's Writers Guild Award and Motion Picture Sound Editors' Golden Reel.

And lost both of them.

The 2002 Season WGA for "Television & Radio: Episodic Comedy" went to 'Frasier' - "Rooms With A View".

The 2002 MPSE Golden Reel for "Best Sound Editing in Television: Episodic, Music" went to 'American Dreams' - "Cold Snap".

March 25, 2003 - Lawrence Directs Season Finale

Hard to believe we're almost done with another year. To help ease the pain of a summer of reruns, we get to see another facet of creator Bill Lawrence's genius when he directs the finale.

There has been word that Lawrence will also get some screen time in a dance scene...but I understand we shouldn't look too hard for him, as he didn't make it into the final version.

March 24, 2003 - Keren DeBerg EP Now Available

The "My Fansite" 'Scrubs' Music List is populated by a ton of great songs by fresh artists...and a good percentage of those songs belong to the up-and-coming Keren DeBerg. Her four song EP, which has been promised for months, is now finally available -- in very limited amount -- via her website. A full album is coming soon.

March 23, 2003 - Special Tuesday 'Scrubs' This Week

Even though the war coverage did not bump 'Scrubs' last Thursday and "My T.C.W." aired as scheduled, we will still be getting Must-See TV comedies this Tuesday, the 25th -- including a repeat of episode 2.06, "My Big Brother" at 8:30 PM (Eastern/Pacific).

March 20, 2003 - The War and "My T.C.W." -- UPDATE

There's finally news as to what will be done tonight on NBC vis-a-vis 'Scrubs' and the other Thursday night comedies in light of the ongoing war coverage: The whole line-up will be shifted to NEXT TUESDAY, MARCH 25.

[Read the News Story]

Of course, all of this is moot, as NBC finally figured there's no need for 24-hour coverage of "Well...nothing is happening...." Must-See TV is airing as usual.

March 19, 2003 - Aaand Another Talk Show Repeat...

- We still have the repeat of Zach Braff on Late Night with Conan O'Brien (NBC) to come on Monday (early Tues.), March 24.

- Now we also have the repeat of Sarah Chalke on The Late, Late Show with Craig Kilborn (CBS) on Friday (early Sat.), March 28.

March 13, 2003 - More Semi-Notable Talk Show Appearances

- It seems Rick Schroder's appearance on The Caroline Rhea Show (syndicated) was continuously bumped and will now be airing tomorrow, FRIDAY, MARCH 14, 2003.

- A repeat of Donald Faison on Last Call with Carson Daly (NBC) will be on Monday (early Tues.), March 17.

- A repeat of Zach Braff on Late Night with Conan O'Brien (NBC) will be on Monday (early Tues.), March 24.

February 28, 2003 - Semi-Notable Talk Show Appearances

- The Wayne Brady Show will be repeating Zach Braff's January appearance on Wednesday, March 5.

February 16, 2003 - NBC Continues to Screw Around

The much delayed "My Karma" is set to air on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 20, at 9:30 PM (8:30 PM Central Time), following 'Will & Grace'. 'Scrubs' flubs will be featured in another blooper special -- 'NBC's Funniest Out-takes 2' -- which NBC is claiming will air on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 25 at 8 PM (ET/PT). Problem is, all the TV listings I check claim that a repeat of 'Outrageous Game-Show Moments' will air in that slot.

February 06, 2003 - Do the "My Karma" Shuffle

Episode 2.16, "My Karma", was slated to run tonight, February 06, 2003, on NBC. However, due to some ratings-grabbing programs on competing networks, it seems as though 'Scrubs' has been shelved for this week in favor of a repeat episode of 'Friends'. Initially, schedules indicated that "My Karma" had only been bumped to the 13th. But now it appears it has been pushed back even further to the 20th.

Just keep checking your listings, folks.

January 30, 2003 - Lots of The Ricker in February, plus more guests...and more on 'Clone High'

- Rick Schroder's appearances have been extended to what seems to be four episodes to run all through February sweeps.

- In a few of those episodes, Jay Mohr and Amy Smart will stop by for an episode or three, respectively.

[ Read More (spoiler warning)] - John C. McGinley will be a guest voice in the 5th episode of MTV's 'Clone High'.

January 30th's episode, monumentally titled "His Story", will be "super-sized" -- extended to run 40 minutes -- as part of an entire Thursday night super-sizing extravaganza. To accommodate the longer run times of the participating shows, the schedule for the evening will be altered thusly:

  • FRIENDS : 8:00 - 8:40 PM
  • SCRUBS : 8:40 - 9:20 PM

December 11, 2002 - 'Scrubs' Stars Head to MTV

A while back, I told you about Bill Lawrence working to help develop 'Clone High' -- an animated series for MTV -- bringing wife Christa Miller on board as a featured voice. Well, Bill is staying true to his philosophy of surrounding himself with friends as co-workers by enlisting some 'Scrubs' voice talent...

- Sarah Chalke as X-Stream Erin, Marie Antoinette

- Donald Adeosun Faison as George Washington Carver, Wally, Toots

June 16, 2002 -

Hello. My name is Michelle. And I'm a 'Scrubs'aholic.

You are too!?

Well, you've come to the right place, my friend; I've done my best to provide a comprehensive fan site for this sparkling new comedy.

And after six months of coding, compiling graphics, collecting content, and jumping a couple of servers (for those who will inevitably wonder: No, I'm not in the UK -- my server is... and I'm very grateful for it), it's finally all here. And I'm actually nervous! I hope you all like it, and that all goes smoothly. If anything looks "off", or if I'm missing a feature/department you'd like to see, please don't hesitate to e-mail me and let me know how the site can be improved!

Thanks. And welcome to My Fansite!
