EPISODE: 5.01, "My Intern's Eyes"
PLOT: *Elliot has left Sacred Heart and has begun her fellowship at County, a nearby hospital. She's determined to get by without help, which means instead of asking where certain medical supplies are kept in the hospital, she rushes across town to Sacred Heart to raid the supply closets there.
Meanwhile, J.D. has risen to the rank of attending physician at Sacred Heart. Inspired by the attending physician who influenced his life so greatly, J.D. has taken it upon himself to emulate Dr. Cox's wardrobe, a move that Cox doesn't seem to appreciate. With J.D.'s new job comes new responsibilities, such as overseeing a new gaggle of interns. Some of the episode is seen literally through the eyes of one of these newbies. And on top of all this, a lifesize cardboard cutout of J.D. is floating around the hospital, which the Janitor uses to further torment the real J.D.
Now sleeping in J.D.'s old bedroom, Turk and Carla are acting upon their season four goal of making a baby. However, it appears Turk may be slipping Carla birth control pills unawares.

EPISODE: 5.02, "My Rite of Passage"
PLOT: *Elliot's life at her new hospital (which seems a little cushier than Sacred Heart) is going well, except for one thing: Charlie, her co-fellow. Charlie is somewhat annoying, and when he suggests they work together on a research project, she is quick to turn him down. Unfortunately for her, Charlie's research leads to a cure, and Elliot is left without a fellowship position. She asks Carla, who is visiting the hospital, to keep this development a secret. This is a challenge because it turns out Carla isn't so good at keeping secrets about other people (which has resulted in Elliot earning the new nickname "Bankfarter"). /*
